Software at the ABL

We maintain a number of commercial and academic software programs. Here is an incomplete list of programs:

- GeneSpring: a powerful visualization and analysis solution designed for use with genomic expression data. Capable of displaying and analyzing large datasets on typical desktop computers. Developed by Silicon Genetics, now acquired by Agilent. Supported by K-INBRE (Kansas IDeA Network of Biomedical Research Excellence) Program.

- DS Gene (for Windows) and MacVector (for Mac): both are biological sequence manipulation software packages. Supported by K-INBRE (Kansas IDeA Network of Biomedical Research Excellence) Program.

- MOE (molecular operating environment): a software suite for protein homology modeling, hight throughput screening, molecular modeling and simulation, structure-based design, etc.

- AMBER: is a package of molecular simulations programs. It is installed in our LINUX cluster.
