Software at the ABL

We maintain and have access to a number of commercial and academic software programs. Here is an incomplete list of programs:

- CLC Genomics Workbench: for analyzing and visualizing Next Generation Sequencing data, incorporates cutting-edge technology and algorithms, while also supporting and integrating with the rest of your typical NGS workflow.

- MOE (molecular operating environment): a software suite for protein homology modeling, hight throughput screening, molecular modeling and simulation, structure-based design, etc.

- GeneSpring: a powerful visualization and analysis solution designed for use with genomic expression data. Capable of displaying and analyzing large datasets on typical desktop computers. Developed by Silicon Genetics, now acquired by Agilent. Provided by K-INBRE (Kansas IDeA Network of Biomedical Research Excellence) Program.

- DS Gene (for Windows): both are biological sequence manipulation software packages. Provided by K-INBRE (Kansas IDeA Network of Biomedical Research Excellence) Program.
