we are seeking a bioinformatics postdoctoral researcher to join our lab. The successful candidate will work on datamining method and tool development in genomics, proteomics, and/or drug discovery, and will collaborate on a number of highly visible and productive NIH funded projects.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
The successful candidate will work on the development and applications of datamining methods and tools in an interdisciplinary and highly collaborative environment. Other duties may include database development and management.
PREFERENCES:
PhD in a relevant field. Experience in scientific programming using Perl and/or Java. Experience in developing databases with web applications. Strong quantitative background with solid mathematical skills. Strong knowledge in biology and/or chemistry. A good publication record. Good communication skills and the ability to work with an interdisciplinary team are essential for this position.
